Before it was Saffron it was the Raj Douth and before that it ws a hairdresser and beautician. For my 30th birthday Anne bought me an Aromatherapy Massage. I left the place so relaxed I was almost asleep. Afterwards I met the guys in the Morning Star and I remember I had a huge hangover after just 3 pints.

Before being Lincoln Red it was “The Black Horse Chambers”. Before that I think it was an antiques shop.

Bought a sports jacket from this shop for Hannah’s Christening partyin 1994. A very bright cobalt blue it was.

I think I know the bloke in the foreground. His name is Andy!

Used to be Humberts-Stapleton. Eric Stapleton died a few years ago and his son David continues to work there.
