When was the last time you used a phonebox?

When was the last time you used a phonebox?

Freedom is going out without
your mobile phone alone.

When was the last time you used a phonebox?

Only the strongest constitution
can take this liberation.

When was the last time you used a phonebox?

Blow a raspberry to the Blackberry,
real men don’t need email on the move.

When was the last time you used a phonebox?

  1. When it still cost 2p to make a call – but you had to keep shovelling them in to avoid the long beeping noises that threatened imminent cut-off. I can still remember the smell !

  2. My neighbour’s new cat followed him to the pub so he put the cat in the phonebox for safekeeping. 2 pints later he led it home.

The village is now fund-raising to put a defibrillator in the phone box. No phone but maybe a life-saver again?
