white toast

Filed under: the art gallery — Trefor Davies @ 8:11 am

with butter and lime marmalade

Just delicious. Crunchy crust with just the right chewiness on the inside. Butter applied when the toast was still hot so that it melts and spreads easily. A commercial lime marmalade was used because I couldn’t find a new jar of my own seville orange but it was perfectly good and one that we had when I was a child. Accompanied by a second slice of toast and washed down with a glass of cold milk.
